Sara Blakely is the founder of Spanx, and the youngest female self-made billionaire in the world.  But that’s not what makes Sara interesting….her story resonates with so many women because she is a visionary who revolutionized the male-dominated lingerie industry by believing in the power of her ideas.  Sara started over ten years ago working as a sales trainer, and performing stand-up comedy at night.  Now her footless pantyhose idea has evolved into a billion-dollar brand trusted by women of all shapes and sizes.

Today I had the chance to meet Sara at her very first store opening in McLean, VA.  She was swamped by reporters and hundreds of new customers.  But you know what?  She pulled me aside to help me personally as I searched for the right bra after learning my story.  I was looking for a comfortable bra that offers support/compression and opens in the front  – because after my next round of reconstruction surgery, I won’t be able to lift my arms for a while.  She had just the thing for me – the Bra-llejuja Bra!!!
