I have my second round of reconstruction surgery coming on January 15th.  The countdown begins. I’m not nervous at all…I’m  excited.  Excited to move on with my life.  Excited that this little interruption over the past year will be over!  I’m excited for my future.  Taking this journey has been one of the toughest and wisest things I have ever decided to do.

This experience taught me that fear can be overcome by deciding to let go of expectations of yourself.   And time is the most precious thing that you can ever have, so spend it wisely.  Let’s do this!
